Mr. Watson was born in 1974, in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Dickinson College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He then attended American University, Washington College of Law, where he graduated with a J.D. in 1999. While at American, Mr. Watson served on the Administrative Law Review, and practiced as a student attorney in the school’s Criminal Justice Clinic. While in law school, he served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Zoran Popovich of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Following law school, Mr. Watson clerked for two years with the Honorable Edwin Kosik, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Following his federal clerkship, Mr. Watson associated with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where he worked for seven years in its Philadelphia office, handling a variety of commercial, product and toxic tort litigation. Mr. Watson joined Kaufman, Coren & Ress in 2008, where he continues his practice in the areas of commercial, product and toxic tort litigation. Mr. Watson is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Watson has handled cases on a pro hac vice basis in both federal and state courts elsewhere in the country. In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Mr. Watson was recognized as a Pennsylvania Rising Star. In addition, he was awarded a 2006 pro bono award by the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
